Production of the first batch of 500 D50L (55hp) engines

Song Cong Diesel Factory was re-established under Decision No. 286/QD-TCNSDT of Minister of Heavy Industry Tran Lum.
1995
Renamed Song Cong Diesel Company (DISOCO) according to Decision No. 126/QD-TCCBĐT and became a member of Vietnam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM)
1997
DISOCO became a shareholder contributing 25% of capital to Ford Vietnam, built an assembly plant in Hai Duong, inaugurated on November 6, 1997.

Model Conversion
The Ministry of Industry issued Decision No. 148/2004/QD-BCN to convert Song Cong Diesel Company into Song Cong Diesel State-owned One Member Limited Liability Company, a member of the State-owned Corporation (VEAM)

Change the name to Diesel Song Cong One Member Co., Ltd.
(The parent company VEAM officially operates as a joint stock company. DISOCO becomes a 100% capital company of the joint stock company)
