FOUNDATION AND DEVELOPMENT HISTORY

. 25 April 1980, Song Cong Diesel factory was established under the Mechanical and Metallurgy Ministry.

. 1987 finishing construction and starting production

. 1988 first lot of 500 engines 55hp were manufactured

. 12 May 1990 became a member of Vietnam Engine & Agricultural Machinery Corporation (VEAM)

.  22 May 1993  re-established by the decision of Minister of Heavy Industry

. 1993 starting production of  gasoline of 8hp licened by Lombardini (Italia)

. 1994 starting production of small diesel engines of 6hp, 10hp, 13hp

. 20 February 1995 renamed as Song Cong Diesel Company

. 1 December 2004 reformed as Song Cong Diesel Limited Company by decision of the Ministry of

Industry

.  12/21/2017 reformed as Công ty TNHH Một thành viên Diesel Sông Công
